Mocha Java Lava Cake


INGREDIENTS (4 people)

  • 6oz semi-sweet Baking Chocolate
        or use your favorite 70% dark chocolate bar
  • 6 oz Butter (diced, room temperature)
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Flour
  • I TBL of "COOKIN WITH COFFEE" powder
        (optional, but takes this dessert to a new level)
  • Butter the inside of each Ramekin

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Melt chocolate on low flame in a double boiler. When melted, take off heat and...
  3. Stir in diced butter, until it melts.
  4. In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar, until it starts to whiten, and sugar is dissolved.
  5. Stir in melted chocolate, flour, and "COOKIN WITH COFFEE" powder.
  6. Butter 4 individual remekins, and pour in chocolate batter
  7. Bake for about 10 minutes.
  8. Tip ramekins upside down onto dessert plates and serve.

TIPS

You can prepare your chocolate Java Lava Cake recipe ahead of time, and then bake 10 minutes before serving. Easy and delicious!
