If you are not naturally adventurous with our beverage choices, you may change your mind after you experiment with this invigorating Iced Coffee. Coffee connoisseurs will jump in readily. Trust them. They know a good coffee drink when they taste one. Always make this refreshing brew with high quality espresso style, fresh roasted coffee beans. For greatest integrity of flavor, we recommend using whole beans that you'll grind just before brewing, but a good ground coffee will do as well. We use Organic Espresso Roast, brewed one day ahead and chilled. French Roast is a good choice as well.
Method - Make a fresh pot of Organic Espresso Roast. Allow to cool. Refrigerate overnight. Fill half of 4 large glasses with ice cubes. Pour in chilled espresso just to cover the ice. Fill remainder of each glass with sparkling water. Add a sprinkle of maple sugar. Any sugar or sweetener will do. Here in the Green Mountains of Vermont we like to use maple sugar for a distinguished touch of sweet. Give a light stir and serve immediately.
