Iced Maple Latte

Iced Maple Latte

Fall may be months away, but here in Vermont, we are always looking for ways to enjoy that liquid gold, aka Maple Syrup, all year long. This Iced Maple Latte is perfect for a summer brunch or afternoon snack. It is so delicious! You won't believe how easy it is to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (2% or whole milk)
  • 1 - 2 cups ice
  • 1 1/2 cups Vermont Maple Cream Coffee, at room temperature
  • 3 tablespoons pure maple syrup

Instructions

  • Pour milk into a pint size canning jar, put the lid on and shake vigorously back and forth for a minute, until foamy. Take off the lid and microwave for 15 seconds.
  • Fill two large glasses (or mason jars) with ice. Pour coffee evenly between the glasses.
  • Divide the maple syrup between the two jars.
  • Using a spoon, hold back the foam and pour some milk into each jar.
  • Stir to combine
  • Then, top with spoonfuls of the foam on top of the latte.
  •  Enjoy!
